This has to be my favourite wave yet. I totally thought it was a mountain. I bet you did too!
fathers day sunet
Snapped this on my way home from Fathers Day BBQ festivities. It was quiet tranquil I must say. I could hear toads “ribbiting”, probably around 4 different birds singing different songs, then a beaver swimming around. Plus a butterfly.

From Boing Boing:
Jason Craft is very good at special effects. As proof, I offer this homebrew Portal video, in which Craft and friends animate an excellent (and rather comical) Portal adventure. I was amazed to discover that the gun itself is also animated. SEE FULL ARTICLE

why Canada’s awesome || Huffington Post article
The Huffington Post recently published a sweet little piece about the awesomeness of Canada. Why its a fantastic time to be from, and living here. I’ve included an excerpt below but you can read the whole article here. Its great!!
It’s a pretty amazing time to be a Canadian. We are the envy of dozens of nations around the world. We’ve dodged the economic crisis that’s rattled the U.S., Europe and other parts of the world. We smell good. But there are other smaller, more palpable reasons why this country of ours is one of the best places to be. With Canada Day just around the corner we asked Huffington Post Canada editors and writers for reasons why our country is just plain awesome and came up with a list that touches on everything from ketchup chips to Ryan Gosling. We hope you enjoy it.
